The 2025 WNBA season is officially underway. After a long wait following the New York Liberty's WNBA Finals win last season, fans have professional women's basketball back on live television.

With the season getting started, predictions and opinions are flying about what is to come this year.

Kevin Durant was asked about which teams he's most excited to watch in 2025. He offered four intriguing options in response.

"Seattle, Phoenix, sparks and mystics," Durant wrote in a post on X.

Notably missing were Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever. Clark has been the most hyped up player heading into the season and the Fever have become one of the most popular teams in the league as well.

As for Durant and his NBA career, there have been a lot of storylines swirling around with his name attached to them.

Many rumors have come out about Durant potentially being on the move from the Phoenix Suns this offseason. If he is made available, the rumors will become deafening with potential landing spots.

For now, he's simply enjoying the start of the WNBA season.

In a previous post, Durant celebrated the start of the WNBA season directly. He wished all teams and players good health and good luck.

"I love that the @wnba is back. Wishing everyone a healthy season. Let's go," he wrote.

CBS Sports recently revealed their expert picks for who will win the WNBA Finals this season. All three of their experts had the Liberty winning their second consecutive championship.

Only time will tell, but women's basketball is back and Durant is about it. It will be interesting to see how his four teams to watch perform throughout the year.
