The Nebraska Cornhuskers softball team continues its postseason run this Sunday when it plays Southeastern Louisiana in the championship round of the Baton Rouge Regional of the NCAA Softball Tournament. The Huskers last won a regional in 2014.

Nebraska defeated UConn 10-2 on Friday and Southeastern Louisiana 14-1 on Saturday to advance to the championship game. The Huskers need only one more win, while Southeastern Louisiana would need to beat Nebraska twice on Sunday to advance to the Super Regional.

The Cornhuskers enter Sunday with a record of 41-13 on the season, while the Lions are 50-15 in 2025.

This weekend is Nebraska's 27th NCAA Tournament appearance. The Huskers have made it to the Women's College World Series seven times and have a 66-56 record in the NCAA Tournament, including a 56-39 mark in the regional round.

The winner of the Baton Rouge regional would play the winner of the Knoxville regional.
